? when you see that you think "huh?" or question or "what." So what am i talking about. I'm talking about all three. This is my question to you, What is God going to do with you next? Tough one, huh? We have to open our hearts and let God use us! We can stand back and build walls to be comfortable but you will feel trapped in those walls at the same time. You might not see that the walls are trapping you. You might make yourself think that it is something else that makes you feel trapped.
Example: Your job, your relationships, your organizational skills, where you live, how much you get paid, what your boss thinks of you, what town you live in, what your friends think of you, your own lusts, how your parents raised you and even the way you are raising your kids(mentoring someone if you don't have kids yet).
These are things that we add to our walls. All of those things are like posters and stickers hiding the walls we built so that God and others can't get too close. To break those walls you don't have to do it brick by brick(that's not a bad place to start though) but you can kick it down. Yes, you might feel vulnerable but God is standing next to you. Things might tempt you to started building those walls again but He is there to hold back the main force of satan, only letting enough temptation through for you to fight along side God. You can ask for the strength to fight the temptation and He will give it to you.
You must know that it wont be an easy road though. It will be hard at times but those times are the times where God is watching for you to shine and deny the devil and praise the Lord. The more you fight the easier it will be to fight that temptation. Though you will start having things thrown at you that you would have never been able to fight before but because you have been faithful, God knows you will rely on Him. He lets us go through stuff that we never dreamed of because he knows you and your love for Him and he wants to see how much we will fight for him.
You are thinking why would i want to put myself through all that. Well let me just tell you. God will bless you in many different ways after each temptation overcome. He will see that you want to be closer to him more and more. You might not see every blessing but one thing i can say is that if you are asking for Gods help you will feel so much peace. My brothers kick down that wall and remember: James 1:2-4(NKJV)
2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

So I really don't know what I want to do with my life but what I did find is that i have a paaion for kids. I love to see them smile and I love to watch them have fun and I really love to teach them something that they will use for God. Right now i am at Springhill Camps, way up north in Evart, and i just had some chances to connect with kids and make them feel as if they were the only ones in the world I cared to talk to. I was once that kid that was unsure of himself but when that someone stepped in and just encouraged me I wanted to grow and be like him. It looks like the passion I had is still with me ten years later. I know i am young and i have more of a chance to change what im doing. I think you should follow your passion, and use your passion for God!

I know that during this fast we have been praying a lot, but have you stepped out and let God use you. God has so many different plans for you if you let him work through you.
"Have you let yourself be used by God in giving of money? What about time? Have you given up your defiance toward authority? Have you taken time out to just listen to what God has to say? Has God said something to you and you just ignored him because you didn't want to?"
Step out and let God see your heart. He sees it either way but He wants you to show Him. We are His children, and He wants to be proud of us. Ask yourself those questions above. I know that once i stepped out i felt Him moving right away and He blessed me, but the blessing was just an additive. I felt God move, if only I could explain how amazing He is then I would, but I cant so you need to ask God to reveal Himself to you.

So this is my second attempt at this blog...So what is fasting? It is when you take something away from yourself and give it to God. In turn God will fill that need with His power. Now what does that mean for us? Well that means we have to rely on God and ask him to keep us from temptation. This time of fasting is a way to get us closer to God but not only that but starting to understand Him better. As you do this there will be temptations because the devil doesn't want you to be close to your heavenly father. He will put lies into your head but your head belongs to God and you can send the devil away in the name of Jesus.

I know that in this day and age the world is showing us more and more that porn is okay. We are able to see anything and everything with a click of a button or by pulling up an app on our phones. Porn is everywhere. Every day new sites go up that fuel a sinful world. I have found first hand how hard it is to stay pure in a world where just something simple can trigger a desire to get just that little bit more; knowing full well that in doing so you are hurting yourself more than you ever should. Then you take it to the next level when just looking at porn isn't enough. You want more, but you don't want anyone to know. You get your quick fix by masturbating. It is your mind thinking about things you see and trying to get everything you can out of the sin. At first it feels good to your flesh, but after you feel even worse than ever. Have you ever been walked in while in the act of masturbation? What does that person think of you, of your values and of your trust? (you were hiding it) What if someone was in the room every time you looked at porn or masturbated? What would their reaction be toward you? Well if you didn't know God is there with you. Ouch town. Yeah God saw every thing you saw. Every degrading thing that you did to yourself. Oh and he see what you are thinking... did you think about that? So why do we do this thing that is so destructive to us? My reason was because I was looking for something I couldn't have. My thoughts were, "it's not the real thing so it is okay." That is Satan talking and spitting lies all over you. He knows that you are weak and he wants to find that weakness and hit it hard trying to cause you to fall and once fallen he kicks you and tries to keep you down. The thing he doesn't want is for you to call out to God; ask for forgiveness for everything. In that small cry you reach out your hand and God takes it and lifts you up. With His other hand He throws Satan away. God shows you the path that he wants you to follow. It is going to be a up hill battle, with "shortcuts" that turn out to be a place that Satan with find you again. All the while God is standing right there calling out to you to come back and all you need is to reach out again and he will pull you back on to the straight and narrow. God want you to be victorious over these sins. Call on to him and you will be free. God Bless
