Let's face it, everybody is busy 'doing' life and to add one more task to the 'to do' list may take some over the edge. A lot of that can be attributed to the fast pace that we now live in, and the other is not being as organized as we could be.

Okay, I'm an organization junkie always looking for a better way to streamline my operations. I'm a student of the Franklin Covey system along with DavidAllen's Getting Things Done (GTD) methodology. Both systems work and have environments and people where they work best. A while ago I ran across a revolutionary way to get my inbox completely cleaned out (on my mobile device so far) and I'll never be the same!

The concept is this, sort emails based upon the ones that require a response and the ones that do not. The one's that require action you move to an '@Action' folder that you create and the ones that are just for information you place in a '@Reference' folder.

That?s it, It's your turn. Go ahead download and revolutionize your world!

Have you ever wondered why certain people tend to accomplish more than others within the same amount of time? The reason is that that everyone places a different value on their time. Some spend their time as though it is worth $2/hr and some spend their time as though it is worth $200/hr.

We all are aware of the fact that time is our most precious commodity in that we have all the time that we ever will get. The question then becomes, how do you maximize your time so that you will have a maximized day?

The way that I do it is with a 'Time Budget'.  A time budget is a tool that I personally use to tell myself how I plan to spend my most valuable commodity, my time. The goal is not to lock you into rigid system but to introduce you to a tool that will catapult you into having a Power Day. (Which I enjoy having quite frequently.)

A Time Budget is above and beyond an appointment calendar. A appointment calendar is good for scheduling commitments but what do you do between appointments is how you really maximize your day.

"A time budget is to your time what a financial budget is to your finances." MS

This tool will be revolutionary for people who:

  • Never seem to have enough time.
  • Are behind on multiple projects.
  • Want to do more during the same day
  • Want to push themselves for personal growth
  • Want the extra edge in life!

Ready to take the challenge?

1. Download the time budget
2. Print the time budget.
3. Write down the best use of your time on an hour by hour basis.(Shouldn't have any blanks)
4. Commit to doing the things at the time that you said that you would do them.(Even if you don't complete them)
5. Celebrate your 'Power Day' at the end of the day!

Faith, Family & Finances

As men we have many things that we are responsible for and the balancing
act is not getting any easier.
For that reason I am writing just to highlight the key areas that we need
to make sure we are continuously cultivating and managing these areas on a daily basis which are
Faith, Family & Finances.

  • Faith - Our relationship with God is our direct connection
and life line which all other things will flow out of. Regular Word time and Prayer time are esential.
  • Family - The core unit of society and what we've been entrusted to Guard, Govern and to Guide. We must intentionally develop the family on a daily basis.
  • Finances - The monetary reasources that we are to steward which includes making it, managing it and multiplying it.

Keep these areas cultivated and have a rewarding life!
